At PACK, packaging innovation and technology for 'products' are at the centre of our passion.
Our goal is to engage and collaborate with businesses from varying sectors to nurture mutually beneficial partnerships; design and operationalise tailor-made packaging solutions for their product needs; and more broadly, help them implement solutions-oriented and impact-driven initiatives in the world of sustainable packaging technologies and innovation.
I guess you can say that we are excited about making an 'imPACKt'!
Through our lean manufacturing methodology, expertise in plastics, and deep packaging knowledge, we are able to analyse and predict how materials will behave during manufacturing, handling, storage, as well as ('on the shelf') in the market. We take into account attributes such as the packaging materials´ properties, manufacturing conditions, and packaging design, just to name a few areas that fit within the scope of our analytical approach and consultancy suite. As a company engaged in sustainable packaging solutions, it also goes without saying that intrinsic to the aforementioned attributes is our consideration for dimensions to reduce the waste (and by extension the environmental impact) as well as costs associated with packaging materials.
Ultimately, we help our clients to optimise the use of their resources whilst ensuring that the quality of their products is not only maintained, but rather improved, throughout their life cycles; we offer our clients the best 'packages' (quite literally!) that have the right balance between quality and cost.
ANALYSIS OF SUPPLIERS, MATERIAL PROPERTIES, DESIGN
Are the materials and designs the right fit for the product in order to ensure its quality throughout its life cycle?
Should the materials be improved in order to reduce costs and/or improve the quality of the product?
LEAN MANUFACTURING (RESOURCE EFFICIENCY & MANAGEMENT)
Are the optimum manufacturing conditions being encouraged so that the waste, by-products, and costs can be minimised?
Could the materials and energy efficiency be improved?
CIRCULAR ECONOMY ANALYSIS, (LCA)- AUDIT OF ISO 14001, 9001, 19001
How could more sustainable packaging solutions be implemented? What solution would be the right option for the product?
